Our design methodology

We have learnt the design process and made it our own, project after project we are refining our methodology. It is constantly evolving to be in tune with the current needs of businesses and customers. It's a powerful tool for developing innovative products that people will love to use.

1 - After an initial call or email, we will set up a meeting to gather all the information and materials needed to establish a quote and a work schedule for your project. You can share with us all the material that you consider relevant to describe your needs for this project (brief, moodboards, 3d models, technical files, etc.)

2 - Once the quote and the work schedule have been validated, we launch the project with tests and researches to understand the product, its use, its users, its environment and competitors, in order to point out opportunities for improving the user experience, such as better ergonomics, modernised aesthetics, intuitiveness and better readability.

3 - This phase starts with a big ideation board where we sketch many different solutions for each opportunity, it's the foundation of our future concepts. With your team, we go through all the ideas we have sketched out and choose the ones you find most relevant to your project. Then, we design up to 3 concepts, each responding to the specifications and being fed with the ideas you have just selected. We define them with sketches, 3d models and prototypes, and present them to you.

4- Once you have selected the concept to develop and share your feedback with us, we will refine and detail the concept through 3D modeling, 3D prototyping and create first 3D renders. This phase generally requires several exchanges with your Engineering department to lead to an accurate modeling of the product until it is ready for the manufacture of functional prototypes.

5- Once the design has been validated, we can create photorealistic 3D renderings presenting the product, its functions and its details. The renders can be used to communicate the project internally or to promote it on different media.

6 - Last step, we pack all necessary files you’ll need following the design study : PDF presentation of the design study, 2D sketches, 3D CAD model, 2D drawings, 3D printed prototype and photorealistic 3D renders.
